6I often get asked about my computing setup -- so I created this page to link it
7whenever. Also because I've seen it on other sites, and I don't want to miss
8out.

10## hardware
11
12**HP Envy 13 (2017)**: 13.3" FHD, i5 8250u, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD. This is
13my primary computing device. A comfy, fairly future-proof machine that
14happens to support Linux/BSD incredibly well out-of-the-box.
15
16**MacBook Pro 13" (2020)**: i5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD. My work machine. Not
17a huge fan of macOS, but hey -- it could be worse.
18
19**Ducky One 2 SF**: 65% mechanical keyboard, Cherry MX Speed Silver
20switches. I've written about it in detail [here](/blog/ducky-one-2).
21
22**Logitech M221**: An el cheapo wireless mouse that mouses just enough.
23
24**realme Buds Q2**: Truly wireless earphones, with ANC. Picked them up
25for 2500 INR (≈33 USD).
26
27**iPhone 13 mini**: The only actually small phone in the market (right
28now).
29
30## software
31
32**OpenBSD**: Fantastic OS by fantastic devs. What's not to love? Also read
33[OpenBSD on the HP Envy 13](/blog/openbsd-hp-envy).
34
35**cwm**: The Calm Window Manager. The best out-of-the-box experience you can
36get in a window manager. Period.
37
38**xterm**: Reliable and rock solid terminal emulator.
39
40**tmux**: Most of my actual window management happens here. I usually have
413 - 4 workspaces -- general throwaway terminals, work, music and IRC. It also
42handles scrollback for me, so that's nice.
43
44**weechat**: IRC client that's infinitely riceable.
45
46And the [dotfiles](https://github.com/icyphox/dotfiles) for all software
47mentioned, and more.
